By accessing and using Safartax mobile application and services, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
Service Description
Safartax provides a digital platform for taxi drivers and commercial vehicle operators to pay interstate border taxes in India. Our services include:
- Mobile phone number-based authentication
- Digital border pass purchase and payment processing
- Electronic receipt generation and storage
- Payment history tracking and management
- Multi-vehicle management capabilities
- Customer support services
User Eligibility
To use Safartax, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Have a valid Indian mobile phone number
- Own or operate a commercial vehicle registered in India
- Provide accurate and complete registration information
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
User Account and Security
When you create an account with Safartax:
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- You must provide accurate vehicle registration details
- You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account
- You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or security breach
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms
Payment Terms
Border Tax Payments
- All border tax amounts are determined by respective state government authorities
- Safartax acts as a facilitator for payment processing
- Payment must be completed before the border pass is issued
- All prices are displayed in Indian Rupees (INR)
- You are responsible for ensuring sufficient funds for transactions
Service Fees
Safartax may charge a nominal service fee for facilitating border tax payments. Any applicable fees will be clearly displayed before you complete a transaction.
Border Pass Validity
- Border passes are valid for the period specified at the time of purchase (daily, weekly, or monthly)
- Validity periods are determined by state regulations and cannot be modified by Safartax
- It is your responsibility to ensure you have a valid pass before crossing state borders
- Expired passes cannot be reactivated and require new purchases
Refunds and Cancellations

User Responsibilities
As a Safartax user, you agree to:
- Provide accurate vehicle and personal information
- Use the service only for legitimate border tax payments
- Comply with all traffic and tax regulations
- Not attempt to manipulate, hack, or misuse the platform
- Not share your account credentials with others
- Maintain valid vehicle registration and documentation
- Present digital passes to authorities when requested
Prohibited Activities
You may not:
- Use the service for fraudulent or illegal purposes
- Attempt to circumvent payment systems or security measures
- Create multiple accounts to abuse promotions or services
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the application
- Use automated systems or bots to access the service
- Interfere with the proper functioning of the platform
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of Safartax, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, and software, are the exclusive property of Safartax and are protected by Indian and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
Limitation of Liability
Safartax provides the platform "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by circumstances beyond our control
- We are not liable for issues arising from incorrect information provided by users
- Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific transaction
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Safartax harmless from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising from your use of the service, violation of these terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.
Modifications to Service and Terms
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of our service at any time. We may also update these Terms of Service periodically. Continued use of Safartax after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of Safartax shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Faridabad, Haryana.
